The professors take the time with their teaching to make sure the students understand what is being taught. It's hard to decide which course I like best. I highly recommend CRI.

I had not realized that my mind was so hungry, that the Truth was so simple and so powerful; Truth rooted in the scripture of a Bible I had read multiple times without an understanding of what was right in front of me. I will always be grateful for hearing the true Gospel and for the freedom that would never have been gifted to me if I had not heard it and received it.

Dr Jack’s favorite quote from scripture has become one of mine too! Colossians 2:13-15 13 "And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities[a] and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.["

If you have never read or heard a teaching under Reformed Theology, a course from CRI is a good place to start. Topics are well-grounded in scripture and presented by experienced and knowledgeable men of God.

The classes are high-level, verse by verse instruction. This is what Covenant Reformed Institute teaches.

I am amazed at how this course showed the faith required by those holding to belief in all the beauty of the universe happening out of chaos, while the Bible gives the details of how everything came into being.

"During all the time I sat under leadership from Roman Catholic, Episcopal, COGIC and AG churches, I had never heard anything like the teaching by Dr. Jack Simpson on the Providence of God and His Purposeful Sovereignty. "

My favorite example of Dr Jack’s clarification on translation is John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. The use of “so” gets modernized in our use of the English language; however, a more accurate translation of the original text would be more attune to “God loves the world in this way” or so replace “so” with “thus”. Pastor Jack explains it far better than I, however, it is a great example of how he gets to the root of the Bible to aid in our understanding.”

CRI has taught me the importance of theology, also doctrines, and other important information that has greatly increased my growth and desire to study Scripture.

My first class with Covenant Reformed Institute on the Providence and Sovereignty of God started me on a wonderful path in understanding God’s word, strengthening my faith, enhancing discernment, and spiritual growth. Pastor Jack has been a tremendous influence on my desire to study the Bible. He is patient and willing to answer all of my questions and has taught me that the pursuit of truth should be relentless. Covenant Reformed Institute's commitment to Biblical truth encourages deeper theological understanding. Currently, I’m studying the Attributes of God and the book of Romans, and I look forward to continuing to grow in my faith and understanding of Scripture with future courses.

It seems as though the church today is lost in terms of “knowing God’ and many believe that theological study has no value. We fail to recognize that God has taken great pains to reveal Himself to His people through Scripture. A blind faith leads to so many unanswered questions. Therefore, the quest for wisdom and direction has become more crucial than ever. The courses at Covenant Reformed Institute are teaching me to search for answers in God’s word, and that the right belief/faith comes from the right revelation/ the Bible.
